Summer Breathers, Performances and Camp Descriptions!

Helloo!! I hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday! Below are lots of important updates and reminders about studio closures, camps, and classes!

Summer Holiday Closures

No Classes Memorial day weekend!

We will NOT have classes or open gym this Memorial weekend from Saturday-Monday!  Enjoy your weekend off!

2 week studio closure over the 4th of July

We will be taking a full 2 week studio closure over the first two weeks of July in order for me to get some time visiting family and resting my muscles!!  This means that this next 4 week session is our last 4 weeker before the big break!!

No Classes Saturday, June 10th

In preparation of our big PARTY on Saturday, we will not have any classes on Saturday, June 10th! You should all come to our party at 6pm instead! More on that below! We will, however, still be offering open gym that morning, and extending by an hour (8-10:30 am) for anyone who is desperate to run their piece one more time before the big show.

Performances and Parties!! YAYYYYY!

This Saturday, May 27th During Z&M Twisted Vines Hot Air Balloon Festival

Our performance level students will be performing at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm!  We are so excited to head out there to see the balloons, listen to the band, and play in the air!

If you’d like to come out to watch us perform, the event is free, but parking is $10/ vehicle.   (They are gonna have bounce houses and firepits you can rent, too.)

If you’d like to come check it out, here’s a link to their event: Hot Air Balloon Fest

June 10th 1 year anniversary student showcase!

Saturday, June 10th, from 6pm-9pm our students have the opportunity to show off their skills in our zoo themed student showcase/aerial family and friends party!   Our performers have been working hard on coming up with animal themed acts, and I am so excited to see the show. I feel so full and happy with everything this studio has become in just one short year. That is major thanks to everyone who has embraced this community and this art form with such open arms (and a tight grip!!).

Of course, you don’t have to perform to join in the fun.  We want everyone to come celebrate with us!

This event will be free, but we are recommending a $5- $10  donation to help us cover the food and drink spread!

Summer Camps

Our summer camps are right around the corner, and filling up fast! We have our first one coming up very quickly!

July 17-21st, AERIAL DANCE CAMP Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm daily

Throughout this camp, students will work together to create a collaborative aerial performance which parents will be invited to attend on the last day! Be prepared to work hard and learn a lot as you work on skills on lyra, silks, and hammock, as well as dance and flexibility. This camp will also have an arts and crafts component which will be used in our performance elements!
