Competition Fundraiser Show: Raise the Roof + Spring class schedules!
Hello!! We hope everyone has been enjoying the spring weather lately! This season has flown by, and we are in our last week of classes for our current 4 and 8 week sessions, while I’m in the last little bit of my pregnancy before we welcome our studio baby into the world! See below for all the important dates and things to keep in mind over the next few weeks!
Studio break March 24th-March 31st
Our 4 week and 8 week sessions will be on a one week breather over this period of time. During this time, we will still have our regular scheduled open gyms, deep stretch, and competition practice!
New sessions begin April 1st!
All of our 4 and 8 week sessions will start back up the week of April 1st (with Fridays as an exception) Our beginning lyra and dance hammock classes will begin on break week (March 29th) and take a break the week of March 5th to allow our coaches who teach that day to head out for San Antonio for their first regional aerial competition!
Here are the links to both our youth and adult schedules:
Raise the Roof Aerial Competition Fundraiser
12 of our students and instructors have been working exceptionally hard to put together routines for our first Aerialympics competition as a studio. I couldn’t be more proud of the effort and dedication they have put in to creating awesome and creative competition pieces!
To help curb registration fees, they will be performing their solos this Sunday, March 24th at 6pm in the studio!
To support our competitors, you can purchase a ticket for $25. When purchasing your ticket, use the drop down menu to select which competitor you would like to help support!
Tickets are available here: Raise the roof tickets
In addition, we will also be holding a small raffle. We are lucky enough to have some exceptional small business owners in our midst, with super cute candles and goodies, sewn items, a $50 gift card from Fields and Ivy, and we will be giving away some studio swag as well as a birthday party package! You can purchase raffle tickets for an additional $5. This will go directly towards helping with travel accommodations for Maebelle Hamlin, who will be both competing and coaching while in San Antonio!
Special thanks to:
Fields and Ivy, Darleen Schillaci: artistainedglass.com, Alexis Junge: LexModerne, Meagan Grace’s mama (super cute sewn creations!).
Congratulations Ava!!!
Yay Ava for being our first aerial competitor to do an “In the Wild” video competition submittion. Your pieces were absolutely stunning! We’ll be excited to be able to watch you perform again during the fundraiser!
Congrats to everyone who auditioned for our summer show: Free your Mind
You all did such an amazing job putting in your best efforts during audtions! That takes bravery and courage, and you all went in ready to try hard and shine. We’re so excited to put together a beautiful and meaningful show with you all this summer! All audition results have been emailed other than lyra auditions at this point. If you made it into the lyra piece, you will get a separate email today letting you know the details for performing and rehearsing!
